Fresh, faux or dried/preserved wedding flowers?
The main difference in having fresh or dried/faux flowers is the latter will allow you to keep your bouquet as a little keepsake of your wedding day for years to come. They won’t wilt like fresh flowers by the end of your wedding night. The bouquets will also be a bonus keepsake gift to your bridesmaids!
Faux flowers have come a long way from the stark plasticky old fashioned designs and now look and feel ultra realistic. Having faux flowers also means we can source any type of flower that would otherwise be seasonal.
On the other hand, you may still prefer traditional fresh flowers for their sensory experience - the lushness and life of fresh blooms simply can’t be replaced, so it really all comes down to personal preference.
With faux flowers we know a lot of companies describe them as 'silk' flowers however there are no actual flowers in the market that are made of real silk. What they really mean are the flowers are made of a fabric material. The other faux/artificial type of flowers are 'real touch' flowers which feel rubbery to the touch so they stimulate real petals. We use a mix of both premium ‘silk' and real-touch flowers.
As for our dried/preserved range these are all real flowers where they've been naturally dried or professionally preserved.
There’s no need to spend the extra money on preserving your bouquet after your wedding as we’ve done the hard work for you. So enjoy your everlasting bouquet on your big day and keep them for many years to come as a beautiful keepsake and home decor piece with truly, a special memory behind them.
